**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Senior CAD Engineer to join our team at a leading engineering consultancy in Brisbane. With a highly experienced team of engineers, we have a need for a skilled Solidworks Designer to work on various projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing functional requirements and developing designs using Solidworks. In some cases, they may work from existing machine or infrastructure designs, while in other cases, they will start from scratch. While not essential, experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing designs using Solidworks based on functional requirements
  • Working from existing designs or starting from scratch as required
  • Utilizing FEA skills where applicable

Requirements:

  • 3-6 months contract length with potential extension
  • Experience in CAD design and development
  • Familiarity with Solidworks and FEA software

  • A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
