Beachside Bar Staff Wanted

The beachside bar is an iconic hotel located in the heart of Moseley Square and is only metres away from the white sands and pristine waters of Glenelg Beach.

Proudly owned and operated, it has been the local choice since 1869. Surviving World Wars, prospering post The Great Depression and other historical events, the bar is home to many great stories and will be the catalyst for many more tall tales.

We support locals, employ locals, and keep the coin local. The bar caters for an a la carte menu and hosts functions from 20 to 140 people with a great variety of spaces for events.

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and passionate person to join our team at the beachside bar.

Enjoy a great work culture, surrounded by pragmatic, experienced, and down-to-earth people, in a busy and vibrant pub.

Pay will be based on age and experience in line with the casual award rate, we promise you won't be disappointed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and helpful service to patrons
  • Be an exceptionally skilled bar person
  • Be well presented
  • Be energetic and enthusiastic
  • Display excellent communication skills
  • Be proficient with the use of TAB operation
  • Gaming experience will be held in high regard
  • Ensure the venue is a clean and welcoming space
  • Adhere to current RSA regulations and company policies

These positions require the availability to work a rotating roster of days, nights, and weekends. Previous hospitality experience essential.
