Neurologist Position

The Young Stroke Service at Austin Health is seeking a skilled Neurologist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Medical Practitioner with a strong background in Neurology and experience working with stroke patients.

  • Be responsible for the Young Stroke Service, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of new treatments and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals, junior doctors, nurses, and allied health staff to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
  • Contribute to teaching, training, and research initiatives within the department.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A Fellowship of the relevant Specialist Medical College or equivalent.
  • Relevant training and experience in the field of Neurology and stroke medicine.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous professional development.
