Ampstek is seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Specialist to join our team. As a QA Automation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our large backend applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Execution: Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for large backend applications, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards.
- Automation: Create and maintain automated test scripts using Python to improve efficiency and coverage, reducing manual testing efforts and increasing test coverage.
- Issue Tracking: Use Jira X-Ray and GitLab Issues to manage and track defects, test cases, and project progress, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Database Testing: Perform testing and validation of MongoDB and Oracle SQL databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy, ensuring that our applications are reliable and performant.
- Backend Testing: Test and validate large-scale backend systems to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure that issues are addressed promptly, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
- Documentation: Document test results, issues, and improvements, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately recorded and communicated.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and practices to enhance overall quality, ensuring that our testing processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with industry best practices.
Required Skills:
- Jira X-Ray: Experience with Jira X-Ray for test management, including creating, executing, and reporting on test cases, ensuring that our testing processes are efficient and effective.
- GitLab Issues: Proficiency in using GitLab Issues for tracking and managing defects and project tasks, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Python Automation: Strong skills in Python for automating test cases and improving test efficiency, reducing manual testing efforts and increasing test coverage.
- Database Testing: Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Oracle SQL for database testing and validation, ensuring that our applications are reliable and performant.
- Backend Testing: Experience testing large backend applications, with a focus on performance, scalability, and data integrity, ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards.
