Processing Operator Role

This role offers the opportunity to master skills that open doors in gold mining, with a focus on operating state-of-the-art processing plant equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete pre-start meeting – discuss safety and general overview of work for the day
  • Operate various circuits of the plant including crushers, mills, CIL leach tanks, elution, control room & gold room
  • Perform housekeeping and clean up around the plant (shovelling and hosing)
  • Report any hazards or broken machinery
  • Assist the maintenance team especially during shutdowns
Requirements:
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience in a physically demanding role highly regarded

Day-to-Day Operations:
  1. Attend pre-start meeting at 5:00 am
  2. Operate assigned tasks with an experienced Process Operator
  3. Participate in data entry using computer systems such as Excel
  4. Take breaks and follow safety procedures
  5. Return to camp by 5:15 pm bus
