About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned senior site administrator to join our Rail Operations hub in Western Australia, working on a regional rail project. This role will operate on a Did You Know basis.

Rail Operations is an internal business unit within Laing O'Rourke, specializing in delivering all aspects of Rail projects with a team of technical experts. Our high portfolio of work across Western Australia requires dedicated professionals like you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain safe systems of work and report potential hazards.
  • Establish and maintain administration & office management policies and procedures according to Core and Enabling processes.
  • Manage project travel & accommodation bookings efficiently.
  • Process payroll timesheets and adjustments accurately.
  • Raise supply and plant orders, process Goods Received Notes / Delivery Dockets, manage vendors, monitor rejected invoices, incorrect accruals, and costs.
  • Update weekly staff registers (flights, rosters, leave).
  • Support creation and preparation of publications (reports, correspondence, presentations etc)
About You

To be successful, you should have:

  • A substantial amount of experience in a similar senior site admin role, having worked on FIFO projects in the resource sector.
  • Previous experience working for Tier 1 construction contractors.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • A high level of organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
  • An ability to work autonomously in your role.
  • An ability to exercise discretion and protect confidentiality while maintaining an approachable attitude.
  • An ability to collaborate and liaise effectively within all levels of the site team.
  • A high attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your role.
