About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team at Champ Resources. As a Mechanical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on coal handling equipment at our client's site in Rockhampton.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on coal handling equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
  • Conduct daily and random drug and alcohol screenings
  • Hold a current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Induction
Requirements
  • Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualifications
  • Experience in fixed plant maintenance is desired
  • Current, unrestricted QLD drivers licence and reliable transport
  • Ability to pass daily and/or random D&A screening
  • Strong commitment to WHS standards
