Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage onsite tasks, daily scheduling, and support the Senior Project Manager.
  • Oversee contractors daily, including job setup, scope review, and site work zone establishment.
  • Coordinate repetitive tasks and movements with crew and operators.
  • Lead daily toolbox talks and information sharing between crews.
  • Provide continual verbal and written site progress updates.
  • Travel to both metro and regional sites across SA.
  • Conduct Pre and Post 360 camera walks.
  • Support the Senior Project Manager, Contracts Administrator, and Logistics Manager.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment hire, and issue purchase orders.
  • Track variations outside scope and review material usage.
  • Analyse critical reports to maximise profitability.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth scheduling and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage plant and equipment needs, ensuring availability.
  • Organise meetings, functions, and events for project delivery.
  • Assist with special projects as needed by management.
Requirements:
  • Qualification in project management or administration is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in coordinating commercial projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and business applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Effective time management, task prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
