We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.
As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the ICU team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' physical and emotional needs
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in ICU or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
