Job Title:

Head of Pro Bono

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the strategic vision for national Responsible Business Group and Foundation, ensuring alignment with practice objectives.
  • Supervise and support staff members responsible for community programs and pro bono work.
  • Regularly report on program status to stakeholders and provide updates on initiatives and projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote inclusion, diversity, sustainability, and recruitment initiatives.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of pro bono & community strategy, ensuring alignment with practice objectives and collaborating with internal and external partners.

This role involves promoting and protecting the rights of marginalized communities through community programs and pro bono work.

Requirements:

  • Legally qualified with at least 7 years of legal experience.
  • Strong passion and/or experience in access to justice / advocacy / community outreach.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Well-developed stakeholder relations skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong program development, oversight experience and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage staff and focus on driving collaboration and operational effectiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to listen effectively.
  • Strong self-motivation and flexibility. Confident, decisive and enthusiastic.
  • Positive attitude and ability to contribute to the work of a team.
