Financial Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our Business Intelligence unit within the Strategic Finance team. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing insights into fund management, investment, and asset management businesses.

The core responsibility of this role is to develop financial models that underpin these businesses. You will work closely with different parts of the organization to provide in-depth understanding of operating renewable assets and funds management.

  • Consolidate asset performance and macro inputs to drive insights into past and forward estimates of performance for Octopus's funds.
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis at a portfolio level to assess the impact of various equity exposures in Octopus's asset portfolio.
  • Provide support in maintaining and operating the various asset and fund level models that have been developed by the business.

This role requires strong technical skills in financial modelling, including fluency in Microsoft Excel, VBA, and experience in real asset model development and operations. Accounting qualification or similar is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
