About the Role
The Northeast Auto Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Vehicle Workshop Controller to join our team in Shepparton. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for leading our team of technicians and ensuring the smooth operation of our Isuzu Truck Workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day running of the workshop, working closely with the front-line team and the workshop foreman.
- Oversee safety standards and ensure workshop housekeeping is maintained.
- Organize training for technicians and quality control trucks.
- Communicate verbally and through dealer management tools with the team on progress and job status.
- Occasionally speak to customers directly on their truck and its progress.
About You
We are looking for a qualified technician with a high level of mechanical aptitude and excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. You will bring:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Sound computer skills.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- The ability to mentor others and work in a team environment.
