About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our GWS Local Darwin Service business. This role will involve providing service, maintenance, and repairs to various types of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently while being part of a wider team and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide service, maintenance, and repairs to refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Determine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate and submit required paperwork and procedures.
- Attend call-outs as per rostered requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and market developments.
- Adhere to the highest standards of business conduct.
- Comply with company and client health, safety, environment, quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures.
- Experience in the mining or oil and gas industry is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to health, safety, and environment, with the ability to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Qualification.
- Ability to acquire a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
- Restricted Electrical Licence.
- Arc-tick Refrigerant Handling Licence.
- Valid C Class Licence.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong diagnostics and fault-finding abilities.
