A dedicated Veterinary Nurse is required to provide exceptional nursing care to patients in a hospital setting. This role involves working with our small, close-knit team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding nursing support to patients in a hospital environment.
- Assist with team-based consulting and customer care as required.
- Mentor junior nurses and student interns to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Stay adaptable in a changing environment and participate in ongoing learning and professional development to enhance clinical skills.
- Support the clinic's efforts to maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of three years of recent nursing experience, with at least one year of paid employment in a veterinary setting.
- Blood collection, catheter placement, and feline-friendly handling techniques.
- Radiology and dentistry skills, including X-ray interpretation and dental procedures.
- Anaesthesia monitoring, including ECG, blood pressure, and capnography to ensure patient safety.
