We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to support our team at IIQAF. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will conduct site investigations, analyze soil and rock mechanics, and provide recommendations for construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct site investigations to assess geotechnical conditions and provide critical insights for construction projects.
  • Perform and analyze soil and rock mechanics laboratory tests to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Develop geotechnical design recommendations for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate complex geotechnical concepts to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure geotechnical considerations are integrated into designs and plans.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications and guidelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians to enhance their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of soil and rock mechanics principles, including laboratory testing and data analysis.
  • Proficient in using geotechnical software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing technical reports and presentations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards, including those related to geotechnical engineering.
