Site Security Specialist

Job Overview

This role involves providing security services at our site. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Security Supervisor and be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain security systems and access control points.
  • Maintain surveillance of the site and monitor all personnel while on site.
  • Monitor, manage, and record all communications across the site.
  • Provide support to the Helpdesk Service as required.
  • Assist the Security Supervisor with duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be an Australian citizen.
  • Hold a current Defence Security Clearance or be able to obtain and maintain one.
  • Hold a NSW or ACT Security Licence (or be able to acquire before commencement).
  • Hold a Certificate II in Security Operations (or be able to acquire before commencement).
  • Have experience in the security industry (preferred but not essential).
  • Hold a current NSW or ACT drivers' licence.
  • Be able to work a rotating roster.
