POSITION OVERVIEW
Location: Geelong, VIC
The HSE Advisor will work closely with the Project Manager and HSE Manager, providing essential HSE guidance, support, and leadership to our project teams regarding all health, safety, and environmental matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering timely and effective safety and health services
- Participating in the creation of Work Packs, including methodologies and risk assessments
- Ensuring adherence to the established methodologies and compliance with the organization's safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- Assisting in the investigation of incidents and accidents, implementing corrective measures
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure synergy and compliance.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety Management; a Diploma-level qualification in a relevant safety discipline is preferred.
- Extensive experience in a comparable site-based role within the construction sector
- Thorough understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations
- Experience in implementing Safety Management Systems
