About the Role:
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist looking to transition into a Rehabilitation Consultant role to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will assess, plan, organize, and participate in workplace rehabilitative programs to help clients achieve positive return-to-work outcomes.
You will work with a range of clients, primarily those covered by NSW Worker's Compensation, with opportunities to work in Life Insurance, Comcare (including DVA), and CTP schemes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing workers' transferable skills and potential through early intervention assessments, home assessments, worksite assessments, job task analyses, ergonomic assessments, and case management services.
- Liaising with various stakeholders, including insurance companies, medical practitioners, employers, and employees, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Contacting employers to inquire about potential job opportunities and promoting the WorkSafe Incentive Scheme for Employers to organizations.
This is a full-time position, with part-time options available at 4 days per week. We offer a competitive remuneration package, including:
- $80K - $90K + super + bonuses (dependent on experience)

About You:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- AHPRA registration
- Previous industry experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and injury management is desirable
- Outstanding communication and networking skills
- Excellent writing skills and experience writing reports
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Australian driver's license
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
