About the Role

The Hospital and Health Service covers a vast area of over 350,000 square kilometres, serving rural and remote communities in North Western Queensland and the Gulf of Carpentaria. As a medical professional, you will be part of a team providing healthcare services to this diverse region.

This hospital has 200 beds and is the main referral hospital in North West Central Queensland. You will find a unique blend of urban and outdoor lifestyles, with an average of over 300 days of sunshine each year.

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill clinical on-call requirements in Anaesthetics practice
  • Undertake on-call in Anaesthetics in line with approved scope of clinical practice

Requirements:

Essential criteria include FACEM or equivalent qualifications. New FACEM Fellows are encouraged to apply.
