Teaching Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a primary school tutor. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make learning enjoyable and build strong relationships with students.
Our center offers a supportive environment for teachers to grow their skills and confidence. You will have the chance to work with small groups of students in 60-minute sessions, held after school hours.
The ideal candidate will possess a teaching degree or be in the final year of their degree, and hold a current working with children check. They will also demonstrate a friendly, professional and personable manner, with proven ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons using established methodologies
- Provide positive and caring support to students to promote self-esteem and self-worth
- Develop and maintain accurate records of student progress and goals on a weekly basis
- Communicate effectively with parents through verbal and written feedback
- Work up to 2-3 sessions a day (Monday to Saturday)
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A teaching degree or in the final year of your degree
- A current working with children check
- A friendly, professional and personable manner
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Confidence using software and computers
- Genuine love for learning and teaching
- Reliable, high attention to detail and strong organisational skills
