About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Associate Family Lawyer with at least four years of post-admission experience to take the next step in their career. As a key member of our Gold Coast team, you will play a pivotal role in both legal practice and firm development.

  • Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including:
    • Divorce and separation
    • Property settlements and financial agreements
    • Parenting disputes and child support matters
    • De facto and same-sex relationship matters
    • Relocation and intervention orders

Beyond managing complex cases independently, you will also be responsible for:

Building and maintaining strong client relationships and referral networksSupervising and mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to their professional growthPlaying a key role in business development and firm expansionWorking closely with firm leadership to establish a clear pathway to partnershipRequirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Admission to practice in Australia with at least four years of post-admission experience in family law (private practice)Strong technical expertise in family law, with the ability to manage complex cases independentlyA commercial mindset, with a strategic approach to client and case managementProven experience in business development and networking to build referral pathwaysThe ability to mentor and lead junior lawyers while fostering a collaborative work environmentA long-term commitment to career progression, with ambitions for partnershipWhat's on Offer
