This permanent, full-time position involves conducting servicing, repair, and maintenance of heavy mobile mining machinery and commercial installations. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and be able to diagnose and investigate equipment faults using various technologies.

The Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Conducting servicing and repair of heavy mobile mining machinery and commercial installations.
  2. Diagnosing and investigating equipment faults using various technologies.
  3. Repairing and maintaining equipment to ensure it operates within manufacturer specifications.
  4. Ensuring electrical safety is paramount in all work undertaken.
  5. Participating in a proactive manner in identifying improvements to site electrical processes.
  6. Performing supervisory duties when required.

About You:

We are seeking a highly skilled HV Electrician to join our team, with a strong background in heavy industry electrical maintenance. Our ideal candidate will have:

  1. An Australian Trade Qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  2. A current QLD Electrical Licence or equivalent.
  3. Experience working in a similar role in a heavy industry environment.
  4. Competency in the use of diagnostic tools and technologies.
  5. HV Switching qualifications.
  6. Strong diagnostic skills and schematic knowledge.
  7. Experience with electric haulage systems on mining equipment.
  8. A focus on safety and attention to detail.
