Job Description:
We are seeking qualified Support Care Specialists to join our Gold Coast team. As a Support Care Specialist, you will travel between customers' homes, assisting with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.
The role involves:
- Providing personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance
- Offering social support and transportation for social activities, shopping, and medical appointments
- Assisting with domestic tasks, such as light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- SUPPORTING CUSTOMERS IN THE USE OF AIDS AND PERSONAL EQUIPMENT
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Experience working in Aged Care or Disability Services
- Holding a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance/Criminal Record Check
- Current First Aid certificate/CPR
- Current Australian Drivers License
- Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
- Smart phone with internet access
