Design Standards Expert

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the aesthetic, safety, operational efficiency, and cost standards across our supermarket, local, and liquor brands. The successful candidate will have a background in retail design and architectural documentation, with experience in creating blueprint and format plans, ensuring legislative requirements are met, and managing documentation processes.

Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and implement brand standards for aesthetics, safety, operational efficiency, and cost across multiple brands
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliance
- Manage relationships with external consultants, including architects, engineers, and quantity surveyors
- Conduct site visits to review standards and ensure safety compliance

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail planning, design, commercial, and financial understanding desired
- Ability to manage construction consultants and present to senior leaders or large groups
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
