Driving Instructor Opportunity

  • A role exists for a skilled and passionate driving instructor to join our team in Wollongong.
About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality driving lessons and assessments to our clients, while also promoting road safety and excellent customer service. A strong focus on building trust and rapport with clients is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct learner lessons and senior assessments, utilizing a structured approach to teaching and learning.
  • Deliver the NSW Safer Drivers Course, providing expert guidance and support to learners.
  • Expand your qualifications and skills to facilitate corporate training and other specialized programs.
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

  • A current Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics and valid NSW Driving Instructor License.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Driver Trainer in NSW.
  • The ability to obtain TfNSW Safer Drivers Course (minimum module 2) accreditation before commencement.
  • Senior Assessment qualifications (will require 3 years of Driver Training experience).
  • A valid NSW C-class Driver's License and Working with Children's Check (WWCC).

  • Passion for helping learners become safe and independent drivers.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to drive NRMA products and deliver positive reviews through a need-based selling approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability to different learning styles and needs.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and flexibility to adapt to business demands.
