Role Overview

The successful candidate will support a Year 3 student with additional learning needs in a full-time, permanent position based at our welcoming campus.

A current Working with Children Check is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement communication strategies under the guidance of allied health professionals and classroom/learning support teachers.
  • Use alternative and augmentative communication methods to facilitate participation.
  • Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and strong observation skills to adapt instructions and learning activities.
  • Liaise efficiently with classroom teachers, allied health professionals, and campus learning support teachers to ensure consistent support.
  • Maintain accurate learning and communication support records.

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally hold a Certificate IV in Education Support or Certificate III in Education Support with recent relevant experience.

Note: A current WWCC is required for this role.
