Role Overview

This exciting opportunity seeks an experienced professional to lead our expanding Infrastructure team in Brisbane, focusing on rail transport and urban planning. As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for driving growth, innovation, and excellence in project delivery.

You will:

  • Lead and Grow the Team: Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to develop the capabilities of your high-performing team.
  • Strategic Contribution: Contribute to achieving business targets, including utilisation, billing, and profitability.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage operational aspects, ensuring alignment with company objectives while mitigating risks.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients, government departments, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Project Delivery: Lead the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised degree or AIPM credentials in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a consultancy environment, with a proven track record in developing and delivering major infrastructure projects.
  • Technical expertise in rail project management, interface management, and business case development.
  • Leadership capabilities: strong team management skills, ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • B/business development skills: demonstrated experience in growing a client-focused consulting business, ideally with extensive knowledge of rail networks.
