Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal. The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is the first level of the Victorian court system and a jurisdiction within Court Services Victoria. It has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 locations, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year.
About the Role
Court Services Victoria is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administration Officer to support the daily operations of the Broadmeadows Magistrates' Court. This role ensures the court functions efficiently and professionally, providing high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to phone and in-person enquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide timely administrative support including data input, filing, archiving, and records management.
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, mail distribution, and ordering supplies.
- Maintain resource manuals, spreadsheets, and accurate statistical reports.
