Civil Engineer - Albany

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Albany team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to work on a variety of projects, including transport, land development, property, ports, and marine, and asset auditing.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in design, documentation, and site inspections.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Design, documentation, and site inspections of various types of projects.
  • Liaising with clients, building client relationships, and preparing bids.
  • Leading the design of projects and overseeing the documentation.
  • Coordination with clients, other consultants, internal engineers, senior civil designers, and draftspersons for the documentation of civil engineering projects.
  • Site inspections (including inspecting civil works to ensure compliance with project documentation and specifications for work undertaken by contractors).

Key skills and experience required for this role include:

  • Experience in an engineering consultancy.
  • Experience in the Great Southern or other regional locations will be advantageous.
  • Experience in transport, land development, property, port and marine, asset auditing will be highly regarded.
  • Relevant 5+ years experience in a consulting environment.
  • A sound knowledge of construction methods and health and safety.
  • Engineering degree qualification.
