About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead FRP Project Manager to join our team working on an exciting project in remote Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be accountable for interpreting specifications, drafting and maintaining drawings and plans, construction methods and procedures. They will also manage and mentor other project engineers, site engineers and graduates, leading support to the project manager, construction manager and wider project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting specifications and ensuring compliance with project requirements
  • Drafting and maintaining detailed drawings and plans, including construction methods and procedures
  • Managing and mentoring project engineers, site engineers and graduates to ensure successful project delivery
  • Leading support to the project manager, construction manager and wider project team to achieve project goals
  • Developing detailed work programs for allocated work packages and managing scope of work, equipment and materials
  • Identifying variations in work packages and submitting lists for review by the project manager
  • Proactively managing costs within their control to ensure project delivery within budget
  • Developing margin improvement strategies in conjunction with the project manager and teams
  • Preparing project-specific quality management plans and obtaining approval from the client
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience working in a FIFO or DIDO capacity, preferably in FRP/concrete construction projects
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to lead and mentor small project teams

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
