About Labourforce

Labourforce is a leading provider of specialized services, including Smoke Alarm inspections, installation, and maintenance. As a Field Service Technician/Electrician, you will be responsible for performing inspections and testing Smoke Alarms in residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Smoke Alarm Inspections and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and testing of Smoke Alarms in residential properties to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Service and Maintenance: Perform routine service and maintenance tasks on Smoke Alarms, including replacing batteries and performing system checks.
  • Installation and Repair: Install and repair Smoke Alarms in residential properties, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Compliance Reporting: Complete compliance reports using Labourforce's dedicated Technician App, providing detailed information on Smoke Alarm inspections and testing.

Requirements:

  • Electrical License: A current Electrical License is highly desirable for this role.
  • Driver's License: A current driver's license is required for this role.
  • Field Experience: 3-5 years' field experience in the same or related industry is highly desirable.
  • Police Clearance: Ability to provide and maintain police clearance.
  • Blue Card: Blue Card (as required).
  • Professional Presentation: Professional presentation and pride in appearance are essential for this role.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills are required, as you will be visiting real estate offices daily.
  • Autonomy and Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously, but happy to be collaborative as part of a wider team.
