About the Role

We have several full-time permanent positions available for Skilled Tradespeople to join our ASX-listed business in Wetherill Park. As an Equipment Efficiency Specialist, you will play a critical role in enhancing the site's mechanical systems capabilities to increase overall equipment efficiency.

The incumbent must be flexible to work 12.5-hour rotational shifts (Day & night), including alternative weekends.

Our Wetherill Park site in Sydney is our Milk-Based Beverages (MMB) hub for the eastern seaboard. The site manufactures fresh and extended shelf-life products, including our short pack format MBB and Ultra Heat Treated (UHT) long-life unrefrigerated milk. This state-of-the-art facility has benefited from past and ongoing large-scale investment and produces 75 million litres of some of Australia's most loved dairy products, including Dare Iced Coffee, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Big M.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance inspections.
  • Plan and coordinate the testing and inspection of products and processes, and implement corrective actions to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure all work is carried out per safe engineering practices, as well as legal and food safety requirements.
  • Understand benchmarking and implement plans for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Prioritize safety above all else and support a safety-first culture.
What You'll Need
  • Certificate III Engineering – Mechanical Trade or relevant experience.
  • Experience in beverage or food manufacturing would be an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skill – fault finding and root cause of breakdowns.
  • Proficient in CMMS systems (MEX) and PC skills (word, excel, email).
  • Ability to work independently as well as work in a team.
