About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead our electrical division in Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical engineering aspects of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Coordinate with Principal Electrical Engineers to ensure the successful implementation of project designs and lead the work of Lead Engineers.
  • Engineering Studies: Prepare and review electrical engineering studies, design drawings, and documents, as well as materials and equipment specifications.
  • Specialty Engineering: Resolve electrical engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
  • Scope of Work: Establish the scope of work for each project or proposal.
  • Work Scheduling: Schedule and expedite the work of the department.
  • Organizational Development: Develop organizational procedures, methods, and controls.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure quality and safety standards and procedures are followed.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate activities with other departments and clients.
  • Investigation and Research: Determine the need for investigation and research.
  • Long-Range Planning: Participate in the development of long-range plans.
  • Project Objectives: Establish project objectives and priorities.
  • Expert Advice: Provide expert advice on electrical engineering design, process, and other methods.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and registered as a professional engineer with significant experience of 25 years. A Master's degree is desirable.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and recognized as a specialist in electrical engineering on large to mega projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of electrical engineering practices and economic principles, calculation protection methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
