We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding position that offers opportunities to work on various projects, from design phase to overseeing construction activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Timely project delivery across a range of projects, including preparation of designs, specifications, reports, calculations, drawings, cost estimations, and details/schedules;
- Project delivery in accordance with our quality assurance framework;
- Managing all aspects of projects, including design, specification, and reporting;
- Undertaking site visits, providing advice, preparing reports, and engineering and construction support services;
- Participating in meetings with supervisors and project managers to review specifications, risks, and opportunities/alternative strategies;
You will have the opportunity to establish and maintain excellent client relationships through a high-level consultative approach. To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree qualification;
- Recent, proven experience working on building services projects as a design engineer;
- An understanding of the Building Code of Australia/National Construction Code and strong technical knowledge and skills in electrical issues;
- Extensive project experience working to Australian Standards, with experience dealing with utilities and other authorities;
- Proven experience with low voltage power distribution, earthing, communications, security, and lighting system design;
- Proficiency in design software such as Bluebeam, Powercad, and AGI32.
