Job Description

As a Graduate Registered Nurse in our perioperative unit, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team. Your role will involve providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

You will work closely with experienced nurses and midwives to develop your clinical skills and knowledge, with opportunities for specialization and career progression.

In this role, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families, while also developing your professional skills and expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of a nursing or midwifery course after 1st June 2025 or expected completion at least one month before starting.
  • Evidence of Australian working rights.

Our graduate program is designed to support early career nurses and midwives as they transition into independent practice and enhance their clinical skills.

What We Need From You
  • Availability for a minimum of 30 hours/week, on a rotating roster including AM, PM, night, weekends, and public holidays.
Program Structure

Our 12-month program, available in full-time or part-time roles (minimum 30 hours/week), is designed to help early career nurses and midwives transition into independent practice and enhance their clinical skills.

This program is paired with an additional Consolidation Year to ensure you're well-prepared to succeed.

During your graduate program, you will:

  1. Gain hands-on experience in our perioperative unit.
  2. Develop your clinical skills and knowledge through rotations and training.
  3. Work closely with experienced nurses and midwives to develop your skills and expertise.
