Job Description

The Reconciliation Specialist will play a key supporting role in helping Financial Control provide financial information to stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring daily and monthly tasks are completed as per the SG Fleet Accounting and Reporting Manual, with all reporting requirements met within strict deadlines
  2. Processing finance rentals, terminations, and final settlements (RV or Balloon payment) transactions with various financiers within the lease portfolio and other 3rd party payments
  3. Urgent funding requests processing
  4. Daily New Business Applications review, corrections, and communication to relevant financiers
  5. Analysing and investigating discrepancies between SG Fleet systems and financier systems, including arrears investigations and identifying live system data errors related to the Financial make-up of a lease, including Financier Issue Management online system
  6. Updating financiers on lease changes, including restructures and extensions
  7. Liaising with internal parties and financier contacts to resolve errors or complete transactions as required
  8. Reconciling suspense GL accounts as necessary
  9. Preparing month-end BS reconciliation reports
  10. Assisting with specific projects, staff training, and process improvements related to funded lease transaction accuracy and reconciliation

Requirements
  • Previous Reconciliation or General Ledger experience
  • Able to solve problems and follow through to complete resolution
  • Advanced Excel and macros skills
  • Able to work with multiple systems
  • Proven customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Strong technical/numerical skills and knowledge, thorough and accurate

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
