Mater Private Hospital Brisbane seeks skilled Nurse Care Specialists for permanent positions, offering full-time or part-time roles with an immediate start available.

This is a unique opportunity to join Mater's South Brisbane Perioperative department, which boasts 13 operating theatres, including 3 Neuroscience theatres, across our private hospital settings.

Salary: $38.16 – $49.04 (Registered Nurse Level 1) per hour plus superannuation & Salary Packaging

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, achieving optimal outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
  • Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures, ensuring outstanding patient care
  • Implement strategies to integrate quality and risk management into service provision
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
  • Maintain current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
Requirements
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an Anaesthetics setting
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to promoting the Mater values
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment and autonomously
