**Leading Conservation Science Role**

The Senior Manager, Conservation Science will be responsible for leading and driving the operations of a science function. This newly created role will be critical to aligning the science function with an organization's strategy.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for flexible work arrangements and working from home. However, the role requires on-site presence in the office.

The role offers a salary range of $111,343-$136,394 p.a., plus superannuation, with the starting salary point depending on experience and skill set.

As a conservation science leader, you will be responsible for ensuring integrity through a scientifically robust evidence-base while taking a pragmatic approach to issues like climate change and nature markets.

You will also need to build scientific capability within the team and across the organization, communicate scientific concepts clearly and articulately to both a science and non-scientific audience, and be comfortable being a subject matter expert working within a collaborative team.

Additionally, you will need to understand the interrelationship between science and Traditional Ecological Knowledge.
