English Faculty Leader

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced educational leader to take on a key leadership role within our school's English faculty.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the English faculty, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education in English subjects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achievement as an educational leader, particularly in a Christian school community. They will have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing faculty programs from Year 7-12 and have demonstrated competence in teaching Upper School ATAR courses.

In addition to their teaching expertise, the successful applicant will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think strategically, consult, plan and delegate. They will be approachable, a good listener and an effective communicator and public speaker.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the English faculty and contribute to the implementation of an integrated Christian curriculum
  • Develop and implement faculty programs from Year 7-12
  • Teach Upper School ATAR courses
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff and parents
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or higher in English or a related field
  • Proven experience as an educational leader, particularly in a Christian school community
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing faculty programs from Year 7-12
  • Demonstrated competence in teaching Upper School ATAR courses
