The Western Integrated Family Violence Committee (WIFVC) is a representative, whole-of-sector reference group comprising key stakeholders committed to reducing family violence in Melbourne's west.

This fixed-term role oversees the entire WIFVC Team with direct reports including the three WIFVC Sessional Trainers, the Workforce Development Officer, and the Project Support Worker. The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead system responsiveness within the ongoing family violence reform process at a regional level
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of the WIFVC Action Plan in consultation with governance group, committee, and key stakeholders
  • Drive the development and maintenance of the regional structures, processes, and relationships that underpin sector capacity development, support sound governance and WIFVC operations
  • Ensure monitoring and review of all aspects of the program at a regional level through regular reporting and accountability arrangements at state-wide, regional and system levels.
  • Adhere to organisational policies and procedures, providing supervision and direction to project staff.
