About the Role

VetPartners is seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our internal communication strategy, ensuring that our employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's mission, values, and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement a Comprehensive Communication Strategy: Create and execute a strategic internal communications plan that aligns with VetPartners' mission, vision, and business goals.
  • Lead and Manage Communication Channels: Oversee all internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, town halls, videos, and employee events.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Work closely with senior leadership, HR, and other departments to develop messaging that supports a cohesive and consistent internal narrative.
  • Measure and Evaluate Communication Efforts: Use data to continuously improve engagement strategies and measure the effectiveness of internal communication efforts.
  • Drive a Positive and Inclusive Workplace Culture: Foster a sense of community among employees and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Manage Recognition Platform: Oversee the recognition platform and drive internal/external campaigns to promote our culture of appreciation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or related roles, preferably within the animal health, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
  • Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing a communications strategy, exceptional writing, editing, facilitation, and presentation skills, strong understanding of internal communication tools, platforms, and technologies, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
