Job Opportunity

The Kitchen Hand position plays a pivotal role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring high-quality food preparation.

Duties:

  • Maintain tidy front and back of house areas by sweeping, mopping floors, polishing equipment, cleaning, and sanitizing surfaces as assigned.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the Sous Chef and undertake additional duties when required.
  • Ensure stock rotation, transport items from delivery to storage areas, and correctly use and handle chemicals.
  • Foster a safe working environment by adhering to occupational health guidelines, reporting potential hazards, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Adhere to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations, including stock control, shelf life criteria, and food storage procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Physical stamina is required for manual labor tasks.
  • Self-motivation and ability to follow directions are crucial.

Working Conditions:
