Head Medical is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Staff Specialist Anaesthetist to join our team at a regional Victorian hospital.

About the Role
- We are looking for a skilled anaesthetist with expertise in providing exceptional care to patients, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of medical officers and nursing staff.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient care is centred, safe, and timely, while also contributing to audits, clinical meetings, and safety activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing specialist-level anaesthetic services, including ENT, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urology, and Ophthalmology procedures.
- Fostering relationships with colleagues and other hospital specialists, as well as providing clinical leadership, supervision, and teaching of junior medical staff.
Requirements
- Applicants must be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent qualification.
Salary and Benefits
- An attractive remuneration package, including a base salary up to AUD$477,500, plus generous shift penalties (dependent upon years of service).
