As a Business Development Specialist with AWP Australia Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in servicing members, clients, and associates with our health insurance products and services.

About the Role

  • This is a part-time opportunity to work approximately 8 hours per week, with a two-day, 4-hour shift arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer contact and accessibility during peak periods.
  • Train and brief clients on our products as required.
  • Assist clients with queries and provide regular communication with client staff.
  • Liaise with direct billing medical providers and monitor supplies of marketing materials.
  • Monitor and report feedback and complaints from clients, members, or associates.
  • Report any issues raised by direct billing medical providers.
  • Inform direct billing providers of nearest customer service locations and access times.

Fostering Relationships

  • Coordinate orientation activities and promote attendance at orientations.
  • Assist with activities related to preferred provider agreements.

Sales

  • Liaise with student bodies or associates to integrate our product and improve relationships.
  • Research local channels for product sales.
  • Co-ordinate activities to distribute information about our product.
  • Assist with product sale presentations.

Product Knowledge

  • Maintain expert knowledge of all Allianz Worldwide Partners Health Insurance products and services.

Data Entry

  • Provide accurate information to internal and external stakeholders to ensure satisfied customers can continue to deal with us.

Reporting

  • Submit weekly and monthly reports of on-campus activities and CSR logs accurately and on time.

Professional Approach

  • Communicate clearly with clients and students following established product definitions and service provisions.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times, wearing uniforms when available.

Market Insight

  • Monitor and report competitor activities at client locations.

The estimated salary range for this position is around $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
