Project Engineer Opportunity

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering projects from start to finish, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality objectives are met while maintaining strong client relationships and technical expertise.

  • Manage and coordinate project delivery from contract handover through to closeout.
  • Lead internal teams and external vendors, ensuring alignment through effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Apply structured project management processes and performance monitoring tools, including cost controls.
  • Proactively identify and report project risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and develop estimates for new opportunities, supporting bids and proposals.
  • Build strong client relationships through regular engagement, project reviews, and reporting cycles.
Key Skills & Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with both technical expertise and strong stakeholder engagement skills. You should have:

  • A degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years' experience in project engineering or project management within mineral processing, vibrating screens, or heavy equipment.
  • Previous experience working on OEM projects will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to edit/update CAD drawings (Inventor experience advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite and exposure to ERP/EDM systems.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and time management capability.
  • A proactive, detail-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
