Responsibilities:

  • Surveying long-term care facilities to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Evaluating facility operations and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve quality improvement goals

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Successful completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
  • At least two years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities
