">About the Role
">This part-time role involves undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology, and emergency care. You will also perform minor procedures under veterinary guidance, when required, and maintain the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment.
In addition, you will be responsible for reception duties, including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting and discharging patients.
">About Your Skills and Experience
">We are looking for a candidate with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and at least two years of clinical experience. An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures, excellent animal handling skills, and great communication and customer service skills are essential.
You should also be able to work well autonomously and within a team environment, and have knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential. Availability across Monday to Saturday is required.

">The estimated salary for this role is around $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a supportive team environment, opportunities for learning and development, and a chance to work in a busy and rewarding veterinary clinic.
