About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Newcastle office for a senior commercial lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' post-admission experience.

You will collaborate closely with and receive mentorship from our partners within this dynamic and successful practice group. The role involves engaging with a variety of corporate and commercial matters, with experience in mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and privacy being advantageous. The workload is diverse, high-quality, and intellectually stimulating.

This position accommodates candidates seeking either full-time or part-time employment, with flexible working arrangements available.

About You

To excel in this position, you should be a commercial lawyer with at least 5 years' post-admission experience, ideally possessing a background in a broad spectrum of commercial transactions and corporate advisory work.

In addition to your robust technical abilities, you should be highly organized, exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate the capacity to perform well under pressure to meet deadlines.

You will be a collaborative team member, capable of working with minimal supervision while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.

Importantly, you will have a strong client-centric approach and a commitment to achieving outstanding results and delivering exceptional service to your clients.
