We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join our team at the Lopes Group, a leading company in the construction industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our design concepts and on-site execution.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors in planning and organization
- Interpret plans, regulations, and codes of practice
- Prepare preliminary sketches, working drawings (AutoCAD), and specifications
- Prepare, edit, and revise plans, maps, charts, and drawings
- Coordinate works programs
- Inspect work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations, and standards
- Calculate costs and estimate time scales
- Produce accurate, scaled drawings that detail the specifications for sandstone wall construction
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technical Draftsperson, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of CAD software and technical drawing practices
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Permanent, full-time position
- $73,500.00 – $75,000.00 per year
- 8 hour shift
