Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Civil & Infrastructure team to work on various projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and providing technical support to the construction and engineering teams to deliver projects within specified timeframes, budgets, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Management: Review, document, analyze, and plan projects with the Project Manager to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that quality standards are met and exceeded in all aspects of project delivery.
- Procurement and Purchasing: Manage the procurement and purchasing of goods and services to support project delivery.
- Risk and Hazard Management: Perform risk and hazard assessments to prevent incidents, injuries, and damage.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, supervision, and management to team members to ensure project success.
- Engineering Advice: Provide engineering advice to stakeholders as required.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the entire project from an engineering viewpoint, maintaining an open approach to problem-solving.
- Project Coordination: Interpret specifications and project plans to organize, estimate, and schedule project efforts.
- Project Monitoring: Track budget and schedule, making adjustments as needed to reach project goals.
- Tertiary engineering qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Construction White Card and current driver's license.
- Ability to obtain DCSI and Defence clearance.
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol and Fit for work assessment.
